BAYC Announces Collaboration with Popular Fashion Brand Bape
Yuga Labs has announced a collaboration between the Bored Ape Yacht Club and Bape, a well-known Japanese fashion brand founded by Nigo in 1993. The collection, which includes apparel and accessories, reimagines iconic designs from Bape’s archives and celebrates the shared appreciation for laid-back opulence and irreverence among Bape enthusiasts and BAYC members.
BAYC and Bape have recently announced their partnership, following a significant drop in the value of BAYC non-fungible token (NFT) assets this year. The NFT floor prices of BAYC have decreased drastically, and the sales volumes have consistently dropped.

This isn’t the first time that BAYC has collaborated with a renowned streetwear brand. In 2021, they joined forces with Adidas, and they also worked with Rolling Stone on an exclusive cover design. “Fashion and Web3 go hand in hand, especially in the current times, where they have the power to influence each other almost instantly.
We’re excited to present this groundbreaking collaboration with Yuga Labs,” said Thomas Hui, the Chief Operating Officer at Bape.
